Reset BlackBerry PlayBook to Factory Settings

If you want to wipe data and restore your BlackBerry PlayBook to factory settings then you can do this easily from security settings, lets see how to reset PlayBook to factory settings.

Note: Before performing this step make sure you have saved your all data from PlayBook tablet, including your videos, pictures, downloads, apps, etc.

Step-1

Access security settings, tap Settings icon on the top right corner ( see also how to access PlayBook settings using frame gestures)

Tap “Security” and then tap “Device Wipe” option

Step-2

In the text box type “blackberry” to confirm the device wipe.

After typing the “blackberry”, tap the Wipe Data button. Now your PlayBook tablet will be lock, wait and let PlayBook to perform reset process.

This in fact DOES NOT set it to defult settings. You do not got any icons instead of the browser icon. If this is what you want then do it, but if you want the playbook back to way it was when you first booted up the playbook, do not do this.

i didnt back up my apps and did a hard reset(very sad), how do i get d apps back on it cos i cant seem to! HHHEEELLLPPPPPP!!!!!!!

my blackberry playbook tab. problem is DEVICE WIPE wipe data OK but then letter settings ,country language option by not accepted option it is very big problem. sir please solution
