Use HTC One Phone as Remote Control
Run TV app on your HTC one phone will server the remote control purpose.
After running this app you need to select the room to create remote for, Tap the downward arrow a room with the name “TV Room” is already in the list by default. You can create your own limited number of rooms from Settings menu of TV app.
- Tap on the icon
and then Start. Now select the device like TV, Box or Home theater you want to control with your HTC remote. - Next you need to select the brand name and tap next.
- Turn you TV off, tap Next and point your HTC phone towards TV and tap the blinking button on the screen.
- If your phone remote successfully able to turn your TV on, tap Yes and then and follow the on screen instruction to configure other device and complete the setup, otherwise try again.
