If you want to change the default Download folder of Google Chrome web browser for ease and/or you want that each time browser should ask about the location to save the download files then the following method below can provide you guidance to make some settings to do that.

Step 1

Simply run Chrome web browser, and click on “Settings” button to open menu and click “Options”

Step 2

Now, select “Under the Hood” tab, navigate to “Downloads” section and click “Browse” button

Step 3

Here, select any folder which you want to set for Chrome Downloads from your system and click “OK”

The download folder has been replaced. Now if you want that every time Chrome asks you about the location to save a downloaded file then mark the check box followed by “Ask where to save each file before downloading” and click “Close” button at the bottom to make the change effective

Enable Javascript in Internet Explorer (7.0)

1. Select Tools > Internet Options.
2. Click on the Security tab.
3. Click the Custom Level button.
4. Scroll down to the Scripting section.
5. Select Enable for Active Scripting and Scripting of Java Applets. (you can disable javascript in ie by choosing disable option)
6. Click OK.
7. Select YES if a box appears to confirm.
8. Click OK. Close window.
9. Reload page.

Enable Javascript in Internet Explorer (6.0)

1. Select Tools from the top menu.
2. Choose Internet Options.
3. Click Security.
4. Click Custom Level.
5. Scroll down till you see section labeled Scripting.

1. Open Firefox.

5. Click the Advanced button to open the Advanced JavaScript Options box.
6. Check the appropriate boxes under Allow scripts to.
7. Click OK.

Enable Javascript in Mozilla Firefox (2.x)

1. Open Firefox.
2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
3. Click Content tab.
4. Under the Content tab, check the box next to Enable JavaScript. (uncheck to disable javascript in Firefox)
5. Click the Advanced button to open the Advanced JavaScript Options box.
6. Check the appropriate boxes under Allow scripts to.

Enable Javascript in Mozilla Firefox (1.0)

3. Choose Web Features from the left navigation bar.

Enable Cookies in Firefox 2.0

Go to

Tools menu > Options > Privacy Tab in the Top panel

Enable “Accept Cookies from Sites”
Keep Until: they expire or I close Firefox or Ask me every time
Hit “OK” to save changes

Enable Cookies in ie 6.0+

From th Tool Menu go to

Internet Options > Privacy Tab

Under “Setting” area either hit the Default Button or manually slid down the bar to “Medium security level”
