Rename Multiple Files in Windows at Once

To rename multiple files in Windows, here is a very tiny quick tip for windows users.

If you want to rename more than one files at once you need to do the following steps:

  1. Select all the file that you want to rename in windows
  2. Hit the F2 key from the keyboard
  3. Enter the desire name of the file and hit the Enter key

All files that you have selected will be renamed in a sequence
For Example: if you enter the new name ‘file’ then all selected files will be renamed to file (1), file (2), file (3)…

i hope you like this tiny tip 🙂
