That’s all now you can start sending and receiving email on iPad.
I setup Gmail account on iPad, thanx
Great walk through! I found that if there is a second account it can be more tricky (out going SMTP port etc…) in configuring the mail account(s). I wrote a walk-through on it here: http://ipad-candy.com/configure-multiple-ipad-email-accounts/
I hope that helps! Thanks for the great write up, I liked your “find a MAC addres tip” http://www.trickyways.com/2010/04/tips-and-tricks-for-ipad/

How do you remove an email account from ipad?
thanks
To remove email account form iPad:
Tap on Settings icon
Tap “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” menu on the left side.
Tap your email account that you want to remove.
Scroll down to the bottom there will be a button to delete this account, tap that.
this will remove email account from iPad.
Feel free to reply.
Under “Mail, Contracts, Calendars” the only account listed is the one I want to keep. The email account that I want to delete is the one connected to the “Mail” icon on the main screen, which is Gmail. I want to “sign out” of the gmail account, but unlike on my laptop, there is no “sign out” option. What I want to do, is replace the gmail email account with a new email account.
How do I set the “from” or “reply to”.
I have multiple e-mail accounts on my iPad. Can either be password protected?
I have shaw mail, I receive my mail but the outgoing server does not work? Shaw doesn’t know how to fix this. Any ideas on what the outgoing server should read?

I tried unsuccessfully to add an exchange email account. Now, when I want to try again, I’m told there is already an exchange account on the iPad so I cannot add another, but no exchange account shows up in the list! Don’t know how to edit settings and/or delete to start over since account is not listed. Can anyone help?
Delete Exchange account form iPad
On iPad home screen tap “Settings” icon
Tap “Mail, Contact, and Calendars” option
Select Exchange account from list
Tap the “Delete Account” button
Of course, I know that is the usual way. But, as I said, no Exchange account is showing up, so there is nothing to select to be deleted. That is the problem.
Can you reboot your iPad and then try to add an Exchange account.

2) why are the webmails in my IP server inbox, NOT deleted after they have been down loaded ? I have to go to to my IP webmail inbox and delete them by hand.
