Apple’s October 16th Event – New iPad and iMac Expected

We have been listening that Apple is going to hold an event sometime soon but no confirm date was announced. Finally Apple has confirmed a special media event to be held on October 16, Event is to be held at Town Hall on the company’s Cupertino campus. The event has been rumored and center of discussion since long. This is the time when press invitation have been sent out by Tech giant. What is Tech Giant coming up with? Find out below!

As invitations have been distributed we all know that 10/16 will be the date for Apple’s second major keynote in as many months. Though invitations have been out for the Company’s media event we still are not very sure what Apple is coming up with! Although the Tag line “It’s been way too long” is plastered on invitations which suggests that a product or feature is overdue.

The Tag line may refer to mac mini, which hasn’t been upgraded since two years, some reports suggest that compact desktop may get many enhancements. The iMac might also get treated with a retina display. Talking about the iPad Air, iPad Air will get a makeover according to leaks, thinner form factor, Touch ID and minor aesthetic tweaks. The iPad mini will follow the suit, and both iPad Air and iPad mini might get powered with Apple’s A8 processor seen in the iPhone 6.

As OS X Yosemite, having just reached the GM, is also expected to hit the Mac App store very soon, so we can surely expect desktop OS will be in line for sure. As OS X Yosemite was announced back at WWDC, Apple’s assertion that it has been way too long is as true of Yosemite. Other Key features like continuity and iOS 8.1 is also on the way with Apple pay. Compiling up stuff Apple’s next Thursday event is going to big we might be surprised by new stuff! It’s not far away so we don’t have to wait much to see what Apple comes up with its October 16 Media event! Until then fingers crossed!
