Step-1
Download iOS 3.2.2 for iPad (iPad1,1_3.2.2_7B500_Restore.ipsw)
Step-2
Restore iOS 3.2.2 firmware on iPad.
- Connect iPad with computer and run iTunes.
- Hold the “Shift” key on Windows or “Alt” key on Mac then click on Restore button on iTunes and choose iOS 3.2.2 firmware for iPad that we have downloaded in step-1.

Hi, was reading through the page on 'Jailbreak iPad 3.2.2 using Limera1n'. As this is my 1st try on JB so want to check do i still need to download iOS 3.2.2(iPad1,1_3.2.2_7B500_Restore.ipsw) and go through the restore step if my ipad was bought with default iOS 3.2.2? Thanks.
If you already have iOS 3.2.2 on your iPad you don't need to download and restore the iOS. You can start jailbreak iPad 3.2.2 using Limera1n.
