How to Stop Notifications from Apps on Android Phone

When you have installed dozens of Free apps and games on your Android phone, you definitely will get annoying notifications in shape of Ads or messages that you don’t want to see and usually apps don’t have built-int settings for disable notifications. I have installed different games like Clash of Clans, Hay Day, Tapped Out, Tap the frog and some Gameloft games that always sent notifications in the Android notification bar like “Your frog was missing you…”, “Come play in the pond…”. So if you have the same situation here is the solution to stop notifications from apps and games on Android phone.

  • Does not work on my "sony ericsson xperia arc s". playing "Clash of Clans" and just uninstalled because the option to turn off notifications just is not there. I have the "stop" option but no "show notifications" option is there to be un-ticked.

  • I can turn all notifacations off on most apps but they turn themselves back on..

    • I don't think so they can do that. but, there is a chance apps may turn the notification on again when new update is available and you update them.
