How to Check PSP Motherboard Model
Step 1
You need to install ChickHEN first. Follow the guide linked below:
Step 2
Assuming that you’ve successfully run ChickHEN R2 on your PSP, now it’s time to install PSP Ident to check your PSP motherboard model.
- Download PSP Ident:
Mirror1 | Mirror 2
(Extract the zip file to your computer) - After loading the ChickHENR2, connect your PSP to your PC in USB Mode. (Memory Stick will appear as a removable drive)
- Copy the PSPIdent folder to the following location on your PSP Memory Stick:
\PSP\GAME
- Now disconnect your PSP and run PSPident 0.4 on your PSP (Game > Memory Stick > PSPident 0.4)
- If ran successfully, your PSP will reboot and will display a black screen with Motherboard model and other PSP info like this:
- Now you can use the information found with PSPident about your PSP to identify if you can hack your PSP or not.
- CHA: Completely Hackable
- PHA: Partially Hackable

i am confused because i bought my psp in japan, and im still wondering if my psp is hackable or not. mine is not on your list od hackable psps.
