How to Make the Start Menu Icons Smaller in Windows 7 and Vista

You may don’t like the bigger icons of Start Menu in Windows 7 or Vista taking too much space. See below the Start menu taking whole vertical space of the screen.

Make the Start Menu Icons Smaller in Windows 7 or Vista.

Step-1

Right click on Start Menu > Properties

Step-2

Click on Start Menu tab and then Customize button

Step-3

Scroll down to the end and Uncheck the option “Use Large Icons”

Now you can see smaller icons are taking less space.
