Can I upgrade from my current OS X version
Check your current version of OS X on your Mac, Click on “Apple” > “About this Mac” and see the Mac OS X version currently you have installed. You can upgrade to OS X Mavericks if you have installed one of the following version
- Snow Leopard 10.6.8 (if you have Snow Leopard 10.6.x, first you need to update it to Snow Leopard 10.6.8)
- OS X lion 10.7
- Mountain Lion 10.8
