Enable Split View in Android Nougat 7.0
- First you have to enable screen rotation in order to split screen in landscape mode. To do this simply toggled notification panel from top and then taps on rotation icon. Now open any application that you want to use in spit view.
- The open application is main app, now press and hold recent app button from bottom of the screen until your device screen split into two views.
- Now you have two screen views on your device. On left screen you have your opened main app and on the other side the second screen you have most recently opened applications, just choose any of them.
- In portrait mode it’s same as landscape mode. But split view will show first app on top and the other one on bottom of first app.
Close Split View in Android Nougat 7.0
Split view doesn’t close automatically when you return to your device home screen by pressing home button. When you open any application from you app drawer or even from your home screen it will automatically open in spilt view with most recently pined apps. To close split view simply drag black line between two apps to either on left side or right side of open application. Or even you notice most recent button change into split button when you are in split view. Press and hold it to close split view.
