How to Enable Cookies in Different Browsers

Cookies are small files created on the internet user’s computer to store little information. Cookies information may be user name, date, time etc. The use of Cookies files by many of the websites is to identify the users who have visited the website or registered previously.

Now we come to the core idea of this post i.e: How to enable cookies in different browsers. Below are the instructions for many browsers you may be using.

Mozilla Firefox icon Enable Cookies in Firefox 2.0

Go to

Tools menu > Options > Privacy Tab in the Top panel

Enable “Accept Cookies from Sites
Keep Until: they expire or I close Firefox or Ask me every time
Hit “OK” to save changes

Internet explorer icon Enable Cookies in ie 6.0+

From th Tool Menu go to

Internet Options > Privacy Tab

Under “Setting” area either hit the Default Button or manually slid down the bar to “Medium security level
Hit “OK” to save changes

Mozila icon Enable Cookies in Mozilla 5.0/Netscape 7.1

Go to

Edit menu > Preferences

From the scrolling window click the arrow next to “Privacy & Security” to expand.
Under “Privacy & Security“, select “Cookies
Check “Enable all cookies“.
Hit “OK“.

netsacape icon Enable Cookies in Netscape Communicator 4.x

Go to

Edit menu > Preferences > Advanced Category > Cookies Section

enable “Accept all cookies
Hit “OK
