Windows 7 General Keyboard Shortcuts [Time Save]

Time saving keyboard shortcuts for Microsoft Windows 7. Personally, I use keyboard shortcuts for Windows and different other programs that save my time and effort.

Ctrl+CCopy the selected item(s)
Ctrl+XCut the selected item(s)
Ctrl+VPaste the selected item(s)
Ctrl+ZUndo a step
Ctrl+YRedo an step
DeleteMove selected item to the Recycle Bin
Shift+DeleteDelete item instead moving it to Recycle Bin
F2Rename the selected item
Ctrl+Right ArrowMove the cursor to the start of the next word
Ctrl+Left ArrowMove the cursor to the start of the previous word
Ctrl+Down ArrowMove the cursor to the start of the next paragraph
Ctrl+Up ArrowMove the cursor to the start of the previous paragraph
Ctrl+Shift with an arrow keySelect a block of text or items in window/desktop
Shift with any arrow keySelect more than one item in a window or on the desktop, or select text within a document
Ctrl with any arrow key+SpacebarSelect multiple individual items in a window or on the desktop
Ctrl+ASelect all text or items in a window
F3Open Search window to find file or folder
Alt+EnterSee the properties of selected item
