Enter into DFU Mode with Broken Buttons using Redsn0w
Requirements:
- Download RedSn0w 0.9.14b2 for Mac
- Download the latest iOS firmware for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch
Step-1
Unzip RedSn0w and run RedSn0w application file
Step-2
Click “Extras” > “Even More” buttons on RedSn0w screen
Step-3
From “Even More” options, click “DFU IPSW”
Step-4
“DFU-mode IPSW workaround” message box will display, click OK button
Step-5
Select your downloaded IPSW firmware file
Step-6
RedSn0w will start “Creating DFU-mode IPSW”
Step-7
When IPSW will get created, “IPSW created” notification will display so click OK button
Step-8
Open iTunes and attach your iDevice to system, and select it in iTunes from list of devices in left panel
Note: Backup your iDevice
Step-9
In iTunes under “Summary”, Press and hold “Option” key and click “Restore”
Step-10
Select “ENTER_DFU IPSW” from your desktop which is just created in step-7 and click “Open” button

When Restore process will complete, your iDevice will be into DFU mode. Now, you can continue for jailbreak process and that’s it
