Windows 10 Free Update Requirements

  • Making reservation for Windows 10 free update is first step. So make sure you have installed and running genuine copy of Windows 8.1 or Windows 7 with Server Pack 1 and currently installed OS should be up to date. Set Windows Update options to “Install updates automatically (Recommended)” and update your currently installed Windows 7 or 8.x version.   • Windows 10 system requirements are 1GHz or faster processor, at-least 1GB RAM or 2GB for 32-bit or 64-bit respectively, 16 GB or free hard disk space for 32-bit or 20 GB for 64-bit OS, minimum 800×600 display and Graphics card with DirectX 9 or later with WDDM 1.0 driver.
