How to Install Cydia on iOS 6

Developers who have jailbroken iOS 6 beta with iPhone Dev Team’s Redsn0w 0.9.13 dev1 noticed that the only access is available through SSH or afc2 whereas Cydia is not getting installed on devices. So, through guide below you will know the process to install Cydia on jailbroken iOS 6 beta.

Note: “Uicache” can get broken after doing the following process, which means some of the icons will disappear so you have to “Respring” after any installation.

Install Cydia on iOS 6

Step-1

Download Redsn0w and jailbreak your iOS 6 iDevice

Step-2

Open terminal (on windows use Putty or any other similar app) and type the following code:

ssh root@ip (replace "ip" with your iPhone’s IP address)
alpine
wget -q -O /tmp/cyinstall.sh http://wyndrepo.googlecode.com/files/cyinstall.sh && chmod 755 /tmp/cyinstall.sh && /tmp/cyinstall.sh

Step-3

Done!

If you do not have Cydia icon after doing above steps then, just Power off your iPhone and and reboot tethered.
