XDA Developer, darkthug420 has released JellyNote ROM using the latest Jelly Bean 4.1.1 for Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 GT-N8000 and GT-N8013 (Wi-Fi). So, here we are writing a guide for folks who want to flash JellyNote ROM on Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1.
Note: To install JellyNote ROM on Galaxy Note 10.1, your device must be equipped with ClockworkMod Recovery.
Warning: Create a backup of your Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and its battery should be fully charged before proceeding.
Step-1
Download JellyNote ROM on your computer and then copy it to the internal SD card of Galaxy Note 10.1 and turn it OFF
Step-2
Now, press and hold “Volume Up + Power” buttons for 5 seconds, to boot your Galaxy Note into Recovery mode
Step-3
When you see Samsung logo on your tablet’s screen then release “Power” button while keep holding Volume Up button until ClockworkMod Recovery menu appears
Note: From menu Select “Backup and Restore” > “Backup” to create NANDroid backup which is required to roll back to the previously installed ROM, incase this ROM does not work proper.
Step-4
Use ClockworkMod Recovery menu and go through “Wipe Cache” > “Advanced” > “Wipe Dalvik Cache” by confirming on-screens actions
Step-5
Select “Wipe Data/Factory Reset” > “ZIP from SD card” and choose the option “Choose ZIP” from SD card and browse downloaded JellyNote ROM file and select it to install and let it complete the process
Step-6
Now, select “Go Back” > “Reboot System now”
