ROMOW EXTREME is a ROM released by XDA developer mowmo for Samsung Galaxy SIII GT-i9300 which includes Superuser, BusyBox, extended power menu, improved task manger etc. So, follow the guide below if you wish to flash ROMOW EXTREME ROM on Samsung Galaxy SIII GT-i9300.
Note: This guide just works for Samsung Galaxy S III (GT-i9300), and its recommended to create a backup of device and its battery must be charged in full before proceeding to flash custom ROM.
Flash ROMOW EXTREME ROM on Samsung Galaxy SIII GT-i9300
Requirements:
- Install ClockworkMod Recovery on Galaxy S III
- Download ROMOW EXTREME ROM on your computer and copy it on internal SD card of Galaxy S III
Step-1
Power OFF your Galaxy S III, and to put it into recovery mode, press and hold “Volume up” + “Home”+ “Power” buttons
Note: Its recommended to create NANDroid backup which is helpful incase you want to revert back to your previously installed ROM on your Android device. To do so just select the options “Backup and Restore” > “Backup”
Step-2
Continue with the on-screen options as “Wipe Data/Factory Reset > “Wipe Cache”
Step-3
Go through the options “Advanced” > “Wipe Dalvik Cache”
Step-4
Now go with “Install ZIP from SD card” > “Choose ZIP from SD card”, and select the downloaded ROMOW ROM and let it complete the installation process
Step-5
Now select “Go Back” > “Reboot System Now” and thats it
