Disable Lock Screen in Windows 8
Step-1
Press “Win” + “R” keys, and type “gpedit.msc”, and click on OK, in result “Local Group Policy Editor” will get opened
Step-2
From the left panel of window, go through “Computer Configuration” > “Administrative Templates” > “Control Panel” > “Personalization”
Double click on “Do not display the lock screen” and choose “Enabled” from pops up dialog box and click “OK”
Now, just to check out the change, press “Win” + “L” keys and have a look at the minimal lock screen which is asking to enter password directly, by skipping lock screen on Windows 8.
