A few days back I have a weird experience on my computer, when I open Internet Explorer I saw a different page with the message “Can’t reach this page” and browser suggested to try few things to solve the problem. I saw a suspicious URL in the address bar: “res://aaResources.dll/104”. Normal websites addresses start with HTTP or HTTPS and this URL starting with res and seem to execute DLL file that caught my attention. After that I did a little bit research on it and found the I am not alone there a lot of peoples having this problem.res://aaResources.dll/104 Error on Internet Explorer Windows

When I was getting this message my Windows 10 updated to Creators Update. Different people reported that they start receiving this message after updating Windows. When they open Internet Explorer 11 an URL “res://aaResources.dll/104” automatically appears and keep reappearing.

Before getting into the solution of this problem let’s discuss a little bit about the reason for this error message. Is it spam, malware, virus or something else? Is it dangerous for the computer?

What is aaResources.dll

Most Windows users start getting this message late 2016 those who using Internet Explorer 11. What I found, this isn’t a spam, malware, virus or anything dangerous for your PC. Some users tried to undo this by uninstalling the update but couldn’t find the solution. The reason behind the error “Can’t reach this page” or “Page can’t be displayed. Make sure the web address res://aaResources.dll/104 is correct” pop-up” is an Amazon Assistant plugin that you have installed. You might not installed this plugin by yourself, sometimes it automatically installed with another software. So, let’s see how to fix this problem by uninstalling this plugin completely.
