just recently completely reset my phone to factory settings and even got a more accessible gmail account to use. my problem is that when i go into the android market to download some apps, the market gives me the ‘connection timed out’ error and none of my apps download. what’s up with that? it doesn’t even pick up my apps that i had saved on my SD card.

My homepage is gone. I was trying to change my wallpaper when it happened. It gives me the option of forceclose or wait. I can receive calls and texts. Take pictures. But the homepage options aren’t there and that includes settings which I would have to access through my apps I have followed all the direction I found online and nothing is working.

You mean you stuck on setting up device after resetting it, need an internet connection and don’t have WiFi.

If Yes, then instead of WiFi you can use Mobile Data connection, press the menu button on your Droid phone and see the related options. You can ask someone to share his mobile internet connection with your device this may work for you as well OR even you can share your internet connection from PC Windows 7 / Windows 8 or Mac.

My old DroidX is turned off and I have a potential buyer so I factory reset it to wipe all my info/ect. off of it and now it is asking for a phone number. Do I just need to tell them to go have it activated or what? I’m not sure what to do here…
