How to Unlock iPhone 3GS OS 3.0 Using UltraSn0w

This is a guide to unlock iPhone 3GS on OS 3.0 with UltraSn0w tool. Before starting the process of unlock iPhone 3GS, your iPhone must be jailbroken but if it is not then fist jailbreak it.

After jail-breaking iPhone 3GS successfully, now you can move forward for unlocking the device. So, follow the instructions bellow to start the process of unlocking iPhone 3GS with the help of UltraSn0w.


If you are on T-Mobile then Turn Off 3G before starting Unlock process

Process to Unlock iPhone 3GS OS 3.0 with UltraSn0w

Step 1

Open Cydia on your iPhone Springboard


Step 2

Click on Manage button at the bottom of screen


Step 3

Press Sources button


Step 4

Click Edit button at the right top of screen


Step 5

Then click on Add button which is on the left top corner of the screen


Step 6

Type this URL: and press Add Source button. Remember this point that UltraSn0w spell has ‘0 zero’ do not use the alphabet ‘o’


Step 7

When it completes the process after entering URL then click on Return to Cydia button


Step 8

Press Done button which is at the right top corner of screen


Step 9

Click on under the Entered by User Sources


Step 10

Select UltrSn0w from the list of packages


Step 11

Click on Install button which is at right top corner of screen


Step 12

On following screen click on Confirm button at the right top of screen

When installation process get completed successfully then click on Return to Cydia button


Step 14

Press Home button on iPhone to go back to SpringBoard. Turn OFF the iPhone by pressing Power button for 3 seconds and then dragging the Power slider that appears to the right. Turn ON you iPhone again and that’s all.

Now you have Unlocked iPhone 3GS on OS 3.0, use SIM card of any carrier and enjoy!
