If you want to remove all applied text formatting, styles and effects from your Word document then it’s quite an easy task to perform in Word 2010 and 2007. So, just follow the steps written below as the process to remove text formatting of Word document is same for Word 2010 and 2007.

Remove Text formatting in Word 2010/2007
Step-1
- Run Microsoft Word and open your document.
- Make text selection of specific portion or press Ctrl + A from keyboard to select the whole word document text.
Step-2
Click on “Home” tab, click “Clear Formatting” icon in “Font” section and that is all. It will remove all text formatting as you have selected the text, one formatting of text will not removed and that is text highlighting, to remove text highlighting see next step.
Step-3
Now, to clear text highlighting make sure the text is selected, click on the arrow besides “Text Highlight Color” in “Font” section under “Home” tab and click on “No Color” option

I convert a document to word so I can copy and paste but the document is in a box. How can i remove the box and just get the text?
How do I stop a whole paragraph from going left or middle as I need the first line left and the second in the middle.

This does not clear all formatting, still have to remove end of paragraph marks to get the paper to flow instead of going in and remove everyone manually don”t have enough time. Help please
