Requirements to install Android OS on iPhone.
- iPhone 2G on iOS 3.1.2 and 3.1.3
- iPhone 3G on iOS 3.1.2, 3.1.3, 4.0, 4.0.1, 4.0.2, 4.1
- Jailbreak your iPhone with Blackra1n, PwnageTool, or RedSn0w (not 0.9.6b2 for now).
Install Android on iPhone 3G / 2G with Bootlace
Step-1
Run “Cydia” from your jailbroken iPhone, go to “Manage” tab > “Sources” > Edit and Add the following repository URL there http://repo.neonkoala.co.uk.
Step-2
Tap on “Search” tab and type Bootlace
to find it, then install the application. Press Home button and close Cydia.
Step-3
Bootlace icon will appear on Springboard, Launch Bootlace and it will download and patch the Kernal, then you need to reboot device.
Step-4
Run Bootlace
Tap “iDroid” tab and install it, this will download an install Android on iPhone.
Step-5
Now tap the “OpeniBoot” tab and install it, once done tap the “Configure” button, make your choice and hit the “Save” button.
Step-6
Now, you will have dual boot with iPhone OS and Android OS 2.2.1 Froyo.
Step-7
Tap “QuickBoot” tab > “Android” or simply reboot your iPhone to boot it with Android Froyo.
Note: For future iDroid update, just launch Bootlace, tap on iDriod tab and grab that.
can i use this … is it safe for me to use in my iphone 3g ….
