Note:
- Before resetting, backup iPad using iTunes and save important stuff from iPad to your computer.

How to reset iPad
Tap “Settings” icon on your iPad home screen
Tap on “General”, and in right panel at the bottom tap on “Reset” option
There are two options to reset iPad
- Reset All Settings : This option will reset all app preferences and settings to original status
- Erase All Content and Settings : This option not only reset app preferences and settings, also erase all contents including Photos, Videos, Music, Apps, etc.
You can use other appropriate Reset options according to the situation, like “Reset Network Settings”, “Reset Home Screen Layout”, etc.
Your iPad may prompt for Passcode so provide that if you have applied
Now follow the on screen instrucions, your iPad will start the reset process and after some time it will get restart with the plug-me-in graphic on screen
All your preferences and settings are reset.
