How to Transfer iPad Data to New iPad 2 [Apps, Contacts, Music, Settings, etc]

If you have got your new iPad and wondering how to transfer your iPad data including Apps, Contacs, Music, Settings, etc to my new iPad 2, then here is the simple process to do that. Just follow the given steps to transfer iPad to iPad 2.

Backup iPad Data and settings

First backup your iPad data, run iTunes and connect your old iPad to PC or Mac

In iTunes right click on your device name in the left panel under “Devices” section and select “Back Up” option

When iTunes finished the backup process, unplug the iPad

Transfer to new iPad

Connect the new iPad with the computer

You may be asked to register your new device if you haven’t registered it already

In iTunes select your device from the left panel

Select the “Restore from the backup of” option, select your iPad backup folder from the dropdown menu

Wait for the iTunes to restore backup to your new iPad, and follow the on screen instruction.
