Folks who feel uncomfortable with startup sound of Windows 7 computer, can follow instructions below to disable it quickly.
Disable Startup Sound in Windows 7
Step-1
Click “Start” button > “Control Panel”
Step-2
Click “Hardware and Sound”
Step-3
Under “Sound”, click “Change system sounds”
Step-4
Uncheck box with “Play Window Startup sound” option and that’s it
