How to Enable Handwriting Input in Gmail

Google includes a new feature of handwriting input to Gmail that gives a way to insert other languages text in email message, which is not supported by your current keyboard. Handwriting input method is also helpful for the users with disabilities. Through steps below you may know how to enable handwriting input feature in Gmail.

Enable Handwriting Input in Gmail

Login to your Gmail account and click on cog “Settings” icon in the right upper corner of screen

Select “General” tab, and checkmark the box followed by “Enable Input Tools” in Language section

In “Input Tools window”, select your required language with pencil icon from the list, you would like to be able to handwrite in Gmail, and click on arrow button to add selected language into right column. Press OK to finish. Click on “Save Changes” button at the bottom of “Settings” page.

Now, you observe a pencil icon besides “Settings” cog icon, you can simply use it for handwriting input in email message, with your selected language

When you write in handwriting input area, Gmail provides the spellings and punctuation help in the bottom line
