How to Disable Animation and Parallax Effects in iOS 7

Apple’s iOS 7 was released with 200+ new features and a lot of graphical enhancements are also the part of new iOS, and out of those are parallax and animation effects. The purpose of such kind effects is to make the iOS more live but for some users these type of effects are annoying. So, Apple allows users to disable parallax and animation effects in iOS 7.0.3, and guide below will help you to do that quickly.

The iOS 7 parallax effect makes the wallpapers moving behind the icons of Springboard on your device, whereas the animation effect works just like before as in the prior versions of iOS.

How to Disable the Animation and Parallax Effects

Simply tap on “Settings” from Springboard

Tap on “General” and from its menu tap on “Accessibility” option

Under “Accessibility” select “Reduce Motion”

Tap on the ON/OFF slider followed by “Reduce Motion” to switch it ON with green colour and thats it

After changing Reduce motion settings now observe the change on your iOS 7 animation and parallax effects, and share your experience with us if you feel some other improvements on your device performance.
