Once done make sure iCloud backup is enabled for the full device while on iOS 11.2.1 by Settings > iCloud > iCloud Backup > Back Up Now.
Once done, open up the iTunes on your Mac / Windows PC. Make sure you are running the latest version of iTunes. Go to device information on iTunes so you can get the details of the connected device.
