Minimize iTunes to System Tray / Notification Area

Whenever you minimize iTunes on Windows system, it stays in task bar. If you want to save taskbar space then you can set iTunes to get minimize in system tray, just for the sake of free space on task bar. To know the process continue reading after the jump.

Minimize iTunes to System Tray in Windows

Open “iTunes” on your Windows system

Click “Edit” menu > “Preferences…”

Click on “Advanced” tab in “Preferences” window, and check mark the boxes followed by options “Show iTunes icon in system tray” and “Minimize iTunes window to system tray”

All is done, now when you will minimize your iTunes window, it will sit in system tray instead of task bar
