“When recovery screen appears use “Volume Up/Down” buttons to navigate and select “wipe data / Factory reset” by pressing the “Power” button.”

You actually need to press the home key on the Tab, not the power button

Can you tell me model# of Galaxy Tab you are using, so i can fix the guide.

Tracymom March 6, 2016, 10:12 am

For mine, Tab S, Model # SM-T807V, you have to hold volume up, power, and then the home button. When the Samsung logo appears, let go of the power button and the home button, and the reboot menu will appear in small, blue letters in the top left corner (holding it horizontally). Then use the volume up and down buttons to scroll to wipe data/factory reset on the menu..
