Stream Photos from iOS Device to Mac Screen Saver

Mac OS X Mountain Lion+, iPhoto 11+ and iOS 6+ includes feature of Photo Stream, which means you can automatically send a stream of photos taken on your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to your Mac screen saver or to Apple TV when connected to Wi-Fi.

Stream Photos from iPhone to Mac Screen Saver

Turn ON Photo Stream in iOS

From Spring board of your iDevice, tap on “Settings” > “iCloud” and toggle the ON/OFF slider followed by “My Photo Stream” to ON state

Enable Photo Stream on Mac in iPhoto

Open iPhoto on Mac, from the left menu click “Photo Stream” and in right panel click “Turn on Photo Stream” button. In result iPhoto will start picking stream of photos taken on iDevice to your Mac

Note:iPhoto will import photos from iDevice until Photo Stream feature is enabled only.

Set Photo Stream to Work as Screen Saver on Mac

Step-1

Click on “Apple” menu > “System Preferences”

Step-2

Under “Personal” section, click on “Desktop & Screen Saver” and select “Screen Saver” tab

Step-3

From left panel choose a slideshow style. In the right panel click “Source” button and chose your photo stream to set as screen saver from the available list of options

Guys this guide works perfect to stream photos with iCloud from iPad to Apple TV.
